"Making Your Home Uniquely Yours"

About The Window Dresser

The Professional
The Window Dresser, founded in 2002, is owned and operated by Suzanne Tefft. After years of sewing custom home fashions for friends and family and an immeasurable interest in decorating, I decided it was time to take a hobby to a professional level. Since 2002, I have attended the Window Fashions Certification Program (WFCP) and the Custom Home Furnishing Conference (CHFC) in Greenville, NC along with Hunter Douglas training programs. I continue to attend such programs to remain on top of home furnishing trends specializing in home couture.

What Makes The Window Dresser Unique?
Unlike many retail establishments, we see the project through from beginning to end...from inception to studio fabrication and installation. Involvement with every step of the process makes being creative easier without communicating through a third party.

I believe that customer service and "Making Your Home Uniquely Yours" is number one. A lot of homes have the same general style and look when it comes to construction and furniture, but it's the custom window coverings and other soft furnishing details that set your home apart from your family, friends, and neighbors. "Making Your Home Uniquely Yours" means it is a reflection of you, and you won't find it anywhere else. This is what I take pride in doing for all my clients. I do not believe in "false sales" like many chain stores advertise for blinds and shades. I give you honest prices everyday.

I carry fabric lines from manufacturers such as Duralee, Robert Allen, Sunbrella, and ADO to name a few. I sell trims from D'Kie, Brimar, Robert Allen, and Conso. I also carry all price ranges of window hardware from several manufacturers. Graber, Paris Texas Hardware, and The Finial Company are a few of the companies I work with. If you have a specific company you are looking for, contact me and I am sure I can get it for you. I carry a full line of hard window coverings from companies like Nanik, Graber, and Hunter Douglas with all price ranges from horizontal blinds to Silhouettes® and woven wood shades. Please visit Products and Services for a list of manufacturers.

I primarily do in-home consulting. A service fee applies for visits. Materials are ordered after a deposit of 50% of the proposal is received. This deposit is non-refundable after materials are ordered. Projects are booked after all materials needed are received by The Window Dresser. Remaining balances are due upon delivery of goods and services.

Like electronic shopping?
For local clients that know what they want (i.e. size, brand, style, color and options), call me for pricing. There is better pricing when I don't have to leave my shop to consult and measure, but always fair and honest prices every day no matter what.
